Welcome to our IFT Blog
We look forward to helping families going through divorce and those who are pre-divorce in an attempt to prevent family separation. The IFT is intended for families experiencing distress, either due to divorce or the possibility of divorce. This treatment program was created to decrease litigation, increase stability, forgo conflict, and increase the chances of success for children involved. Our IFT provides each family with a customized treatment plan tailored to meet the family’s concerns, allowing for a focused and fluid process. We have a team of professionals who work with each family member and provide pre-intensive treatment as needed to help facilitate healthy change during the intensive process. At the conclusion of the intensive week, our team also creates future goals for the family to help continue positive growth toward family stability.
The IFT is intended to be an alternative to conflict focused evaluations and litigation options. While we recognize the psychological impact of family dysfunction, our hope is to allow individuals to be heard and create goals for healthy change. Our program has been running since the summer of 2014 and we have seen success in families beyond our expectations. Following the IFT with some families, we noted that the families continued to move forward, were focused on enjoying events together, and building happy relationships post conflict.
You can expect to see quarterly updates on this page. Our team of professionals will be providing new insight on this blog regarding typical issues that arise within family systems and court-related processes.
